[Layouts]

Fun weekend, with days out at ikea's indoor playground, tmrw at go-go bambini's. Brunch with good friends S and P, tomorrow we'll be trying out a new foodie hangout - HERE. In the meantime, here are my LOs for LT:

i'm hoping to catch more family shots tomorrow, but the weather's been pretty unpredictable and overcast these few days...
O! and i went to visit my little 'babies' at the consignment shop today - none sold yet but it's early days :)

[last day in kindie]

G's concert was last nite, it was an emotional time for us parents, seeing her growing both physically and intellectually over the past year. She's always been a very headstrong (polite word for stubborn :P) little girl, and it was hilarious to watch her perform. She was the only one in the group that pranced about during 'twinkle little stars' and walked here and there before the concert. Definitely with a mind of her own, we've had to adjust our traditional parenting standards to suit her personality, this girl definitely doesn't respond to harsh scolding. Anyways, no pics to show for the nite, as we didn't bring down the camera, but there's a video and i'll try to figure out how to upload it.
Meanwhile, been busy doing my DT assignments for LT as well as completing my dozen or so photo albums! :)

[cottage industry]

Feeling a bit like a cottage industry, cutting up the pieces of cloth into S, M, L sizes to make even more album covers. I've been meaning to replicate a few pieces of the same design, but can't seem to be able to do so! Something in me just wants to try out new designs, it just gets really boring to do the same thing twice - what do you think? Should i be making more than 1 of each book?

[front page love :)]

Being on the etsy front page yesterday really made my day :) that and the 9 orders that i thought were bogus but actually were real sales! Plus, today i'm off to put up my albums at a shop, so excited! :)

O and took advantage of a G-free afternoon to do these :Shadowbox for soon-to-be married cousin R - brother of F, who came over for a crop and talk session :)
Love the combination of red and black with the classic wedding poses :)
Giftwrapping in Xmas colours - can you believe it's already the end of 2007! :P
O and of course my yummy purchases on an afternoon spree with M

[K's 1 month celebration]

K's 1 month old! :) how time flies.... she's definately gained lots of weight, has started to coo back when you make silly faces at her, and of course have also started to demand much more attention! Today we celebrated her 1month old milestone, lots of food and family... here's the pics :
Don't disturb me! i'm 1 month! :)

So sad that V couldn't be around for the whole day of celebrations. I realised we didn't even get to take a family shot together! :( Maybe over the weekend we'll do a proper one...

On the crafty front, inspired by B, i've finally gotten over the inertia of styling my packaging. Did these for some fabric buttons that i might put up in the shop soon :) and also trying out the packaging for my albums!

have a great weekend! we're off to the beach tomorrow... yay!

[are you tired of seeing these?]

Heh heh... sorry to be inundating the blog with even more fabric photo albums. I finished these a couple of days ago, but with the madness of arranging for K's 1 month celebration (can you believe it's already been 1 month!! ), getting her to poop (i'm still not that cavalier a parent that i don't get worried abt the bowel movements of a newborn - maybe i will be more relaxed with the next one :P), i had to do everything in painstakingly slow stages - take the pics one morning, download the next, upload at night. But! i actually finished 8 this time around, which is pretty good for a week's work!
So, here are more pics of the albums:

G's really growing up so quick. Oh, i told her "i can't stand you being so messy at the table!" and she replied "mummy, are you going to stand on my head?" heh..... And today she packed up her sister's diapers into the drawer, because it's empty and she "learnt to pack in school".
O, and it might be too early to celebrate, but i think she might be able to go to bed by herself!! woohoo.... lots more crafting time! :P

*o and i might be able to sell my albums in a really cool brick and mortar shop! will keep you updated.... :)
