Thanks for all the well wishes! Gosh, so thrilled to have so many comments! Can't describe the fantastic feeling of all that love from all over :) You've all made my day a million times over!

On the crafty front, here's a beanbag cover that i did the day before i was induced! :P
So happy with these combination of fabrics that i've done 2 more cushion covers in the same combinations :) Will post them up soon!

Back from the hospital with baby #2.
All in all, it was a great birth experience:
i went into hospital as planned at 7am in the morning on tues, put onto epidural and onto an oxytocin drip to induce the birth. My gynae burst the water bag and it was literally a swimming pool in there! No wonder my tummy was mega size. :) Right after that, the contractions came pretty regularly... unlike my 1st birth, the epidural dose this time around was only very slight, so i could experience the contractions. Once i've dilated to 10cm, the contractions come even stronger and along with it the urge to push. This is the first time i'm experiencing this as for G, the epidural took away all sensation below the waist. The gynae came and just 2 pushes later, Baby's out! It's amazing as the whole experience was extremely positive and also i was much more confident compared to the first birth.
So, announcing the birth of Baby #2 (no name as yet!) at 12:49pm, 9th October 2007, Length - 52cm, Weight - 3.53kg.



G is so totally amazing as a big sister. She was super excited to see her little sister, so excited to carry her and to hold her :) I'm so proud of my little girl!

[SOMO sept LOs and baby updates]

I'll be going to the hospital in 1/2 an hour and what am i doing? updating my blog.... haha... sigh.
Too excited to sleep, i've been up every couple of hours, and finally woke up at 5am. :P
So, i leave you with the SOMO layouts i've done with the September kit - now i can't wait for the Oct ones to arrive - did you see the stamps!!! Soooo cute :)

Just a little flu virus that took G a week to recover from, and now all 3 of us - v, me and my mum are all down with it! i've been hit the worst i guess, coupled with the general discomfort of 3rd trimester pregnancy, the past 2 days have just been spent in drug induced stupor. The gynae has recommended total rest and not to have the baby out just yet. We've set the date for next tues to be induced, but if it comes naturally before that, we'll all just have to wear masks and hope the germs don't spread to the little one.
Checking out now for *even* more sleep...... zzzzzz.....

Completed 4 album covers today so i'm feeling pretty accomplished! heh heh... yup. the baby's still not out yet, we'll be seeing the doc tmrw morning so we'll know for sure when she'll be out.
G's much better now, we spent the day together doing all sorts of stuff including some 'rubons'. She's a lot more precocious now and the things she says really makes me wonder where she gets it from - until the next time i realise i say the same things! :P

[another year older....]

....another year wiser? hmmm... well, i'm not one for melancholic posts, so it's just going to be another cheery one :P
thanks for all yr bday wishes and also wellwishes for G - last nite her temperature went into the 40s.... but her hacking cough is still omnipresent. We brought her to another pediatrician today and thankfully the fever has come down. Now it's just the constant cajoling to get her to take her medications and also to keep her crankiness at bay. (eta : she just had a 4hr nap and she's much better now!)
It's just as well baby #2 is still pretty comfy inside me - perhaps my body knows the stress i'm under with G so subconsciously has repressed the birth? Heh heh... it might be a bday baby for all i know - there's still a few more hours to go!
So, aside from all these, i've been crafting in all my free time - which is quite a lot since G has been keeping us up into the wee hours of the morning.

So happy....... I'm now restocking my shop - hopefully there'll be some sales!! :)

[more wedding stuff]

Haha... seems like i've shot myself in the foot when i said i seldom do wedding stuff. Well, here's the 2nd one in the same number of weeks! This time for a very good friend, who's little cousin (well, i've known her since she was less than 10 yrs old!) is about to get registered next month. A little keepsake, for her and her husband to be! :) Congratulations A & B!







Everyday is like a day of anticipation, baby #2 is still not making an appearance, but G has been running a temperature throughout yesterday and also today, so it's just as well. My first full day of staying home with G, she's been pretty good, given the fact that she's not feeling well and slightly cranky.
