[scrap therapy]

I had a good afternoon yesterday, when both the girls were asleep, creating and creating with some new paper and a very challenging task set by my LSS! But i'm really happy as it made me scrap out of my comfort zone, and pushed me to create a layout with colours that are not usually 'me'. :)
So, here they are!
K - Capture the moment - i love the graphic 45 papers, these basically scrapped themselves! The tags and diecuts are all from rusty pickle. 7G and HS stickers gave the right amount of lift to the photos and added some much needed solid colours to a very busy range of pps :)
Detail.
Journalling is hidden within the file folder
Another LO with such 'guyish' colours! it really made me think out of my box for this one! The colours are SO not what i usually go for, but i love the silvery effect of the hambly print (that's the one with the brocade lounge) and those corrugated paper diecuts (using Big Shot).
Detail - i love those HS stickers!
Another Graphic 45 heavy LO - the background pp is quite busy, which is why i chose a simple photo to feature. The folder also anchors the middle and i used a JB notepaper to be the backdrop of the title, which would otherwise just fade into the background noise. :)
Tags and stuff are from Rusty Pickle
Chipboard from HS and Sticker alphas are from JB
Left over pps went into making Valentine's day cards
more cards :)

And! I managed to do a HUGE purge of my scrap space! it's such a pleasure now to use the space. No more junk cluttering up the tabletop (for now!)
Super organised trolley too!!! :)
Here's some pics of the girls - G in the lovely Crocs outfit from Ku Ku F - i think they'll look even nicer with long socks. Notice her hair up in braids - this is the first time we're doing it and i kinda like how grown up it makes her! :)
K in old navy dress :) She too wanted some hair accessories...
K and V - we had to while away some time while waiting for G to finish up her acting class. Something my parents declared is in vain as she's already so drama! haha...
