[34 weeks and counting down!]

This will be a pretty self indulgent post :) it's one of those days......
First off, a pictorial record of what i look like now - HUGE right? Can't believe i've another 6 more weeks to go. The baby might think otherwise, as according to my Gynea, i'm going through a mild gestational diabetic phase right now, which means totally NO sugar (yup, no wonder i'm depressed!) and she thinks most likely i'll be induced before my EDD. I'll know in a couple of weeks time, when i go for my next checkup. :) How exciting! This means even MORE nesting... heh heh....

My very first 6x12" LO - i know how it's all the rage now, but i haven't jumped onto the bandwagon as yet! But, now i've done it, i kinda like the size - it's something abt the slimness in proportion that appeals :)

*other news - so excited that the full review for the DT gallery at Label Tulip will be up this saturday!! :) I've dug into my stash and so far have completed 2 and a half projects :) Can't wait to get home to complete the other LOs.

Also, i've been asked to produce a little something for another kit club (it's still a bit hush hush now, so i can't say yet) BUT, it's got lots of yummy stuff that just came in the post today!! :)

My fabric stash from HERE has arrived!!! nothing like new fabrics to make my day!

onto French Knotting! :) Ever since stumbling across these pictures on Flickr, and they are so superbly vibrant and great that i've been totally blown over. I'm now doing French knotting on all my fabric covered albums (will do another pic update as soon as the weather permits better pictures!)

I'm always excited to see any of my DT sites having new stuff, so here's the link to the new OA DT announcements - Congrats to everybody that's made it! I know it must be a real hard decision and can't wait to 'meet' and know all of you! :); some Sneaks of the new kit at LabelTulip (i just got mine in the post today - it's awesome!!!)

Other news - G is now totally 'diaperless' in kindie - there was a little 'accident' this morning, but i'm real proud that she's now only wearing her diapers during the night :)

Also scrapped last nite with G, will post the pics of those real soon!

:) that was something G was reciting a few days back and it brought back fond memories of nursery rhymes and childhood jingles complete with hand gestures :)

[SOMO august LOs]

The august kit for SOMO is really great, full of fun dreamy colours and fantastic embellishments! As usual, can't wait to post my LOs from the kit, and since it's already september, i'll do just that! :)
The colours of the pps were the perfect hues for my recent beach pictures!


used another ikea photo matt card to create a shadow frame. This is pretty big - abt 50cm x 50cm! :)

Teacher's day pressies :) G did all the rubons - it's a great way to recycle the remnants of my HS chipboard alphas...


There was a carnival at the last day of school and i was the official handpainter!
Lots of games for the kiddies :)

Also, i had a great time yesterday cropping with F and IG! We broke into our SOMO kits and i was super 'hardworking'! Completing 3 LOs, 1 postqer and a card by the end of the day! :)

Just discovered that blogger had a cool video insert icon. So i'm testing it out....

[commissioned work]

Just finished up a commissioned work - it's a guest book album cover for a little girl's bar mitzvah. Isn't she gorgeous! I wanted a very girlie and young feel to it all and also to add on to the glitzy pomp with lots of diamantes and velvet trimmings. :) Here's what i did - (delivering the goods tomorrow, i hope she'll like it!)

Of course, i can't help take more pics of G over the weekend. Here's some pics of her in a giggly mood after her afternoon nap!

Went to the beach on sat, the park on sun, cleared up some of my stuff from my parents place, did some springcleaning at home, made lots of teacher's day pressies, took wonderful pics that are totally scrapilicious (just in time for the SOMO kit that's arriving any day now), been selected for an awesome kit club, did another embroidered photo album cover, cut up the same pattern for a further 3 album covers (to be done in the car on the way to work next week :P)

All in all, a really fruitful weekend - G is so adept at scrapbooking now! She picks out her own rubons, does the rubbing on herself and the look of seriousness on her face is priceless. O! And when my dad asked her to imitate me walking - she pushed out her tummy and started waddling - gosh.... so funny.... :)

More beach fun today! G loved the beach so much during our mini-vacation, that once our work commitments were over, we promised her a trip to Sentosa again. This time around, we had company! Sad that PS couldn't make it on our mummies day out - but S could and G and E managed to play together (somewhat) and we all had a great morning out!
